Thought-provoking Conversations: Metrix Mastermind Event Recap

Two weeks ago, Ben and I hung out with our mastermind members at our quarterly event in Scottsdale. During our two-day session, we engaged in dynamic, game-changing, and sometimes vulnerable conversations.

There are many things that I admire about our group, but this event stood out to me for one particular reason: everyone showed up and gave their all. I always say, “you get out of the event what you put into it”.

Here are some of the topics we covered:

• The Common Denominator of Success | What are the reasons you fail in business?
• Personal finance? Health? Relationships? Personal growth? We helped our members create a recipe of what it takes to be successful in business
• The state of the economy and how it will impact our businesses
• Doubling down on our physical fitness and maximizing its effects
• A thorough hiring process that actually works
• An exclusive conversation with author Matthew Dicks around storytelling and how to utilize stories to increase your influence, close more deals, and become more effective in your relationships
• The six rules for navigating today’s real estate investment landscape (we also did an activity where we analyzed a few real estate investment deals and discussed the various way to do them)

While the two days were filled with insightful and game-changing discussions, we also believe in a “work hard, play hard” mentality. To balance our hard work, we had some fun too! We hosted private pickleball lessons and a tournament for our members, and also organized a friendly go-kart racing competition.

My hope over the next 90 days, before our September mastermind session, is that our members will implement two or three things they learned to improve their businesses, wealth, or personal lives.
